What you always wanted to know about me and my life as a model.

Why I left the porn business

No, it’s not only because I got tired of it. It is also because of the way how things were done, how people got treated and how the business changed.

How porn gets produced

Some of you might not know how porn is produced. Let me explain this a little.

Usually the productions are very low budget. “Girl comes in, introduces herself, takes off clothes, sits on sofa or bed, spreads legs, masturbates, one (or more) guy comes in with big cock, girl gives blowjob, gets fucked in pussy, sucks more cock, gets fucked in ass, sucks more dick, gets fucked hard doggystyle, gets cum on face or in mouth.” And this all with lot’s of moaning and groaning and a happy face at the end.

A 26 minutes video which is available free everywhere is reduced below to less than 3 minutes to give you an example of a typical simple porn movie.

Of course, there were also other productions with a good story, nice clothes, interesting location, good lighting and camera work, even sensuality, well behaved actors, etc.

The average production though is quite simple and this got on my nerves after a while. As I wrote in my first blog post, I was interested in artistic photography and I expected productions to be at least a little artistic. Which was usually not the case.

Even if you’re called “pornstar” you’re not much more than just a puppet who has to do what is expected from you. When a company wants you to be just a MILF than you have not much choice. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind roleplays, I actually like them. I just did not like to get reduced to a porn puppet.

Many fans like me to be a MILF. How about you?

You can see a the photostory MILF casting with me here.

The video is available (for free) below

There are also quite a lot of fans who liked me in the DSO – Drunk Sex Orgies. I have mixed emotions about that since it was not done in an artistic way, but more as a documentary and it was for sure a special time.

Some of the photos and videos I made available for my members.

how the business changed

When I started, porn was not free available like today. There were restrictions and access was limited. So what went wrong?

Well, with the rise of social media everybody had the possibility to upload and share photos (and videos). Also the porn producers started to share and share and share …  because they thought it’s promotion. Haha! There are even today people who think they can use social media to promote their business. It can be achieved but the big players, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat are actually the only winners. They use clever algorithms that make sure their pockets get filled by selling advertising on the content given to them for free. Youtube pays artists 40%, which is at least something compared to Facebook’s ZERO %.

The free availability of porn killed the business completely. The porn producers often don’t even try anymore to send DMCA takedown requests when their copyrights got infringed. It’s like they have given up completely and sort of have killed their business themselves firstly by making too much available for free and then by not fighting enough for their rights.

how can artists/ producers survive?

I’m always surprised to hear that content in the internet should be free. The fact that digital content like music, videos and photos can easily be copied does not mean it should be available for free. Somebody had to produce it and that required time, work and money.

In the porn business the models (or pornstars) usually don’t have any rights on the produced content. They get paid once and that was it.

In my next blog post I will explain “Why I started my own productions” and what needs to be done to survive in the tough adult business.

    Hello Francesca,

The reason, why the Adult/ Mainstream/ Music industries are now suffering, it’s because the hardware manufacturers, very cheap electronics.
As you have said, anyone can upload to social media and become famous for fifteen minutes. From a photographer’s perspective, models, pornstars and social media corporations are the real winners.
The point I will make, the only way artists will earn money properly, Digital Rights Management, will have to be involved and stop giving out free stuff.

Sorry, I disagree. Models and pornstars are not the real winners. The social media corporations make all the profit. Their clever algorithms cheat on the users. Maybe 5 – 10% of your followers see your posts (on average). Facebook asks for money for higher visibility and is actually not free at all.
There are new networks coming which will change this, e.g. The8App, which pays 80% of revenue back to the users. You should maybe check this one out.
DRM is one possibility but you can’t change people’s behaviour fast enough. The damage is done. The artists and creators must stop being slaves of the big corporations. What would Facebook be without the content uploaded by it’s users? In time the creators will realize that and change.

Very nice to read, even more interesting than the first part! If the given 3min video is so irritating to watch one can just imagine how irritating is to perform in it. I was always thinking these kind of videos do you great injustice since there is no way your personality can be shown there..You have mentioned DSO as being too documentary-like – I agree. But what with FCS, FCP and PIA? I think there were some quite nice and tastefully done scenes. Also, it always seemed to me you were enjoying and having a nice time while doing watersports…But to conclude – your new work got much much more stylish, and also – you are becoming more and more sexy as the years pass!

Yes Ivan, there were some good scenes with e.g. FCS… you’re right. I will talk about this soon in my next post “Why I started my own production”. I will give examples of movies I liked and even inspired me. I like to perform in front of the camera and people and I enjoyed most productions from the sexual point of view. I just got more and more disappointed because I knew it could have been done much better.

I think that is clearly visible. Apart from the so sexy body and face what I always liked so much is your focus on what you are doing, relaxed attitude, clothing style and sense of having fun while performing. In the earlier videos that looked much more the case when the crew on the scene was Czech. I think MILF image is just one smaller part of your personality – secretary role is for me even more significant. But, related to MILF I think the scene with Dolly Darkley (“mom and dad are fucking my friends”) was just so great and hot.

Hi Francesca, you are correct in your analysis of the problems with the world of adult content. Since we had the pleasure of working with you in Sardinia I certainly understand your desire to do artistic work and you have succeeded on many shoots. We have developed some unique ways to monetize Chelsey’s work here which have given her a revenue base and put us/her in control of what we produce and how it looks…. great to find your blog. If you are going to be touring in the US please let me know.
